About Our Club
Thank You for visiting the Rotary Club of New Bremen – New Knoxville.
We would like to welcome you to our club!

Rotary was founded in 1905 by Paul P. Harris as a place where professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, and lifelong friendships.  Today there is a network of over 1.2 Million friends, neighbors, and community members in some 35,000 clubs working together across the world.

Established in 1989, our club has come a long way from its humble beginnings.  Currently our club has 50 active members from various vocations across the area.  Since the beginning, our club has been serving the needs of the New Bremen – New Knoxville area through the promotion of good health, better education, and community improvement.  Together with the help of the surrounding communities we have raised over $750,000 which has allowed us to support many projects in the immediate area and throughout the world.  Some of the projects include:
  • The Sunshine Park Playground for Handicapped Children
  • Joint Township District Memorial Hospital
  • New Bremen & New Knoxville Libraries
  • Lock One Community Arts
  • Scholarship Fund for New Bremen and New Knoxville Schools
  • The YMCA
  • Grand Lake Aeration Project
  • Cataract Surgery Project in Costa Rica
  • Shriners Hospitals
  • Local Emergency Squads
  • World-Wide Polio Eradication Program
  • Medical & Emergency Supplies Abroad Project (MESA)
  • Sharing America’s Resources Abroad (SARA)
